What does the Horsewood label say?

How many Horsewood servings are in one bottle?
One Horsewood bottle holds 30 servings. Each serving is 2 capsules, and the bottle has 60 capsules. At the label dose, that is a 30-day supply.
Larger packs scale the same way.
| Pack | Capsules | Servings | Days at 2 a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bottle | 60 | 30 | 30 |
| 2 bottles | 120 | 60 | 60 |
| 3 bottles | 180 | 90 | 90 |
| 6 bottles | 360 | 180 | 180 |

What do the 100:1 and 10:1 notes on the Horsewood label mean?
The ratios tell you how much raw plant went into the extract. A 100:1 tongkat ali extract used about 100 parts of dry root for each part of finished powder. So 10 mg of extract came from about 1,000 mg of root, which is what the label states.
Horny goat weed is a 10:1 extract. Its 8 mg came from about 80 mg of dry herb.
Why “dry powder equivalent” is not a research dose
Human trials weigh the finished extract that people swallow. The tongkat ali studies gave 100 to 600 mg of extract a day (Leisegang et al., 2022). One 12-week trial used 100 or 200 mg of a standardized root extract (Chinnappan et al., 2021).
So the fair comparison is 10 mg of extract against 100 mg or more. The 1,000 mg figure describes the raw root, not the dose. A ratio also says nothing about how much icariin or other active compound is inside, and Horsewood does not print that.
| Label line | What you swallow | What the ratio adds |
|---|---|---|
| Tongkat ali, 100:1 | 10 mg of extract | Made from about 1,000 mg of dry root |
| Horny goat weed, 10:1 | 8 mg of extract | Made from about 80 mg of dry herb |
What are the other ingredients in Horsewood?
The Horsewood other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin and magnesium stearate. These make the capsule and help the powder flow. None of them is an active.
Each has a simple job.
Microcrystalline cellulose
A plant fiber filler. It adds bulk so each capsule fills evenly.
Gelatin
The capsule shell. It is an animal product, so the capsule is not vegetarian.
Magnesium stearate
A flow agent. It stops powder from sticking to machines.
The label lists no sweetener, flavor or stimulant. It does not make allergen claims such as gluten-free.
What do the Horsewood use, storage and caution lines say?
The left side of the Horsewood label gives four short blocks of directions. They cover how to take it, how to store it, who should ask a doctor and basic bottle safety. Here is each one in plain words.
| Label block | What it says | In plain words |
|---|---|---|
| Suggested use | Take Two (2) capsules daily with an 8 oz. glass of water | Two capsules a day with a cup of water |
| Storage | Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness. | Not by the stove, window or shower |
| Caution | Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a known medical condition should consult a physician | Stick to 2 a day; ask a doctor first if you have a health condition |
| Bottle safety | Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing. Store in a cool, dry place | Check the seal before the first dose |
Step-by-step dosing tips are on the how to take page.
Who makes Horsewood, and where is it made?
The label reads “Distributed for: Horsewood” with an address at 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. It also prints [email protected]. A distributor line names the brand that sells the product, not always the plant that made it.
A small flag badge says Assembled in the USA. The fine print adds: “This product has been manufactured in an FDA registered facility.”
What FDA-registered facility means
The phrase describes the factory, not the product. Facilities that make supplements are listed with the FDA. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements, and registration is not approval (FDA, 2026). Makers carry the duty to sell a safe product (FDA, 2026).
Why does the Horsewood label carry an FDA statement?
Every supplement that makes a structure/function claim must print a set FDA statement. The Horsewood label has it in a box under the facts panel. The claims on the sales page are support for healthy blood flow and male response, natural support for libido and desire, and mental clarity.
These claims do not get FDA review before sale (FDA, 2024).
- The asterisk links the claims to this statement.
- The dietary supplement label is not a drug label.
- A double asterisk line notes Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet.
What does the Horsewood label leave out?
The Horsewood label prints every active amount, but a few details are not on it. None of these is a warning sign on its own. They are simply facts a buyer cannot read off the bottle.
Here are the gaps that matter most.
- How much elemental boron sits inside the 20 mg of boron chelate
- The icariin content of the horny goat weed extract
- Any standardized marker compound for the tongkat ali extract
- The animal source of the gelatin shell
- An expiry date format in the label artwork
A lot number and best-before date may be stamped on the base of the bottle. Check there if the label panel does not show one.

Horsewood label: common questions
What is the serving size on the Horsewood label?
One serving is 2 capsules. The bottle holds 60 capsules, so it gives 30 servings, or 30 days at the label dose.
Does Horsewood use a proprietary blend?
No. Each of the seven actives has its own milligram amount on the panel. Nothing is hidden inside a blend total.
Is the Horsewood capsule vegetarian?
No. The other ingredients line lists gelatin, which usually comes from animals. The label does not say which animal.
What does the dagger symbol mean on the Horsewood panel?
It means no Daily Value has been set for that ingredient. Herbs and plant extracts have no official daily target.
What does REV 11/25 mean?
It is the label revision code printed in the bottom corner. It tells the maker which version of the artwork is on the bottle. It is not a batch number or an expiry date.
Does FDA-registered facility mean Horsewood is FDA approved?
No. The line describes the factory, which is listed with the FDA. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they go on sale.
